Canada to target over 4,00,000 immigrants per year

On October 30, Canada announced that it’s 2021-2023 Immigration Levels Plan. Canada will now target the highest level of immigration in its history.

Over the coming three years, Canada’s goal to welcome the levels for new Permanent Residents:

2021     è        4,01,000 immigrants

2022     è        4,11,000 immigrants

2023     è        4,21,000 immigrants

Earlier this year, on March 12, Federal Government has announced that Canada will aim to welcome over one million new Permanent Residents between 2020 and 2022. After that, Canada has to shuts its border due to COVID-19 pandemic.
