B.C. invites 76 candidates in new PNP Tech Pilot draw

British Columbia invites the highest scoring registrants in each category to apply to the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP), then it will nominate successful applicants to apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for Permanent Residence.

British Columbia’s latest Tech Pilot draw invited 76 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence on November 03, 2020.

Selected candidates who were from the Skilled Worker and International Graduate subcategories needed a minimum provincial score of 80, which represents there is no change in score from all the other tech pilot draws held since June.

Applicants those who submitted their profile in Express Entry, will receive a nomination from British Columbia and will be given an additional 600 points to their CRS score.

In order to be considered eligible for this program, candidates need to be registered in one of B.C.’s existing provincial immigration streams and have a valid job offer of at least 12 months in one of the Tech Pilot’s 29 eligible occupations.

To apply for the Skills Immigration or Express Entry BC categories candidates must first create a profile through the BC PNP’s online portal and register under its Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
