To
apply for the Skills Immigration or Express Entry BC categories candidates must
first create a profile through the BC PNP’s online portal and register
under its Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
Applicants
those who submitted their profile in Express Entry who receive a nomination
from British Columbia will be given an additional 600 points to their CRS
score.
Such
candidates are effectively guaranteed an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in future
Federal Express Entry draw.
Periodically, British
Columbia invite the highest scoring registrants in each category to apply to
the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP), then nominate successful applicants
to apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for Permanent
Residence.
The largest BC PNP draw of the year was held on September 29, which has issued 450 Provincial Nomination Invitations.
