B.C. invites 100 candidates in new PNP Tech Pilot Program draw
British
Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) invited candidates from 4 skilled worker
immigration sub-category and 2 entrepreneur program categories.
British
Columbia’s latest Tech Pilot draw invited 80 immigration candidates and 20 entrepreneur immigration
candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence on October
20, 2020.
The
British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Tech Pilot draw held today
issued invitations to candidates under the Express Entry BC and Skills
immigration categories.
Selected
candidates who were from the Skilled Worker and International Graduate
subcategories needed a minimum provincial score of 80, which represents there
is no change in score from all the other tech pilot draws held since June.

In
addition, 20 candidates were invited under B.C.’s Entrepreneur Immigration
program. In which, a total of 15 invitations were issued under Entrepreneur
Immigration – Base Category, candidates should have minimum score of 122 and 5 invitations were issued
under Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot, candidates should have minimum
score of 109.

To
apply for the Skills Immigration or Express Entry BC categories candidates must
first create a profile through the BC PNP’s online portal and register under
its Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
In
order to be considered eligible for this program, candidates need to be
registered in one of B.C.’s existing provincial immigration streams and have a
valid job offer of at least 12 months in one of the Tech Pilot’s 29
eligible occupations.
Applicants those who submitted their profile in Express Entry who receive a nomination from British Columbia will be given an additional 600 points to their CRS score.
