BC invites 354 immigration candidates to apply for
provincial nomination
The
British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) invited candidates from 3
skilled worker immigration sub-categories and 2 Express Entry sub-categories.
British Columbia invited immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence on October 27, 2020.
The
minimum score required for applicants varied between 75 and 94 for above
mentioned categories. Also, there are few occupations which left out of this
draw due to the coronavirus pandemic. Excluded occupations are mentioned in
below table.
British
Columbia Provincial Nominee Program
(BC PNP) issued a total of 354 invitations through Express Entry and skills
immigration streams. Candidates were invited under Skilled Worker,
International Graduates, Entry Level and Semi-Skilled subcategory under Skills
Immigration Stream.
The
last draw which British Columbia holds is Tech Pilot program which is having 29
eligible demand occupation list which has given 72 Invitations on October
20, 2020.
The
largest BC PNP draw of the year was held on September 29, which has issued 450
Provincial Nomination Invitations.

To
apply for the Skills Immigration or Express Entry BC categories candidates must
first create a profile through the BC PNP’s online portal and register
under its Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
Applicants
those who submitted their profile in Express Entry who receive a nomination
from British Columbia will be given an additional 600 points to their CRS
score.
Such candidates are effectively guaranteed an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in future Federal Express Entry draw.
